Redmi 4 is an Android smartphone by Xiaomi available for sale starting at only 154$.
So the question is, is it worth it? Most definitelly. You will hardly get a better phone for the price. We have personally tested the phone and if you are intrested in buying it, we highly recommend you to read our review.
It was released in November 2016, equipped with Snapdragon 625 Octa Core CPU, powered by 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage included. It has a 13MP front camera and 4100Mah lithium-ion battery. It is ran on Android 6.0.1 – Marshmallow
It looks very modern and it’s sleek design is extremely attractive. It also feels pretty nice to touch and hold in ones hands. One of the great features is it’s high battery capacity. It ensures you don’t have to be wired to the wall charger most of the time like many smartphones do. According to GSMarena test it lasts over 100 hours.
It’s pretty useful, but it might be hard to get used to it at the beginning, since you might mislocate your finger and put it on the camera instead. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great feature but it also has it’s downsides. If you have your phone on a straight surface, fingerprint scanner is a no-go. You will have to pick up the phone or use another form of authentication. All in all i would say fingerprint scanner on the front side would be a better option, although this is just a personal preference.
The front camera has a high resolution of 13MP and the pictures we have taken were very good, however the quality of pictures taken in poor visibility were not that great and have yet to be improved. Videos can be recorded at resolution of 1080p at 30 frames per second.
The screen size is 5″ with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. It’s big enough and fits everywhere. It supports dual micro SIM cards of up to 256GB.
All in all, this phone costs only 150$, but it could be easily compared to higher grade phones like iPhone or Samsung Galaxy. It runs extremely smoothly, can easily take many tasks at once. It performs really nicely! There weren’t any downsides and i’ve been personally using it for few months already. For the price, i hardly believe you could get a better smartphone!
